I have always loved stories.
As a child, I shared tales with listeners young and old. I was an avid reader, too. Once I learned to put pen to paper, poems and short books flowered on the page. Eventually, I produced essays and analyses with verve, and later penned articles for a larger audience to read online. Before long, I had written my first novel, and I sought to show it to the world.
My favorite stories are ones about people. In essence, such stories encapsulate my core passions in life: creative writing, understanding the human mind, and supporting people through their personal journeys. It is for these pursuits — and based on my own recovery from a series of mental illnesses — that I write stories about mental health and healing. I also look forward to listening to similar stories from other people once I finish my clinical psychology degree at the University of Oslo and become a professional therapist.
I do — and always will — love stories.
I hope you will love my own, too.
